Our
multi-faceted journey begins in Thailand, Asia’s most popular tourist
destination. It’s our 6th trip here and we’ve perfected
this with more adventure. We begin in Bangkok, City of Smiles.
Our tours cover the famous golden temples, river cruises,
massages in Chinatown and Pat Pong by night tour in tuk-tuks.
On to Kanchanaburi to visit Bridge over River Kwai, a POW camp and
a ride
the “Death Railway”. The highlight is 2 nights at a jungle river camp.
Enjoy bamboo river rafting down a rushing river and visit the Elephant Camp
to see traditional training. From here we enjoy an exhilarating trek atop
elephants through the lush forests. Later we visit the remote Wat Pa
Luagtu Forest Monastery
now referred to as Tiger Temple. (See Janice McDonald's article about
Tiger Temple.) It has gained a reputation as a wildlife
sanctuary to many animals, particularly orphaned tiger cubs. See the
monks exercise the tigers on walks in the valley and have your photo
taken with them.
We end in the unique country of Cambodia, a country teeming with history. The spectacular
temples of Angkor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that should be on every travelers wish list. Over 100 temples from the Khmer
Kingdom in the 9th to 12th centuries are spread over 13 miles and considered by many to be the 8th
wonder of the world. We spend 2 days exploring these timeless ruins.
Come to the Land of Siam for exotic sights and modern delights. It’s an Asian affair you’ll always treasure.

* FUEL & SECURITY FEES:
These fees nudge airline fares. Feel
free to arrange your own air. There is now significant
increases in air add-on costs, between $185 to $490+. FYI, this
includes: Civil Aviation Security Service fees, Federal,
Domestic and Foreign fees, U.S. Customs, INS, Aphis fee,
Passenger Facility charges, Flight Segment Taxes, Airport User
fees, International Transportation Tax, U.S. Arrival Tax and the
newest addition of fuel surcharges. Also, new taxes may be
imposed after our airline contract has been signed. (I believe
this is out of hand. We are being taken and some government
officials are getting rich off these.)
LAND & AIR PRICES:
Are no longer guaranteed. Foreign currencies in exchange to
U.S. dollar fluctuate daily. Changes in these rates affecting a
sudden price increase can happen overnight. We have absorbed
these sudden increases in the past and will continue to do so
when minimal. If necessary although unlikely, applicable
charges will be advised prior to your final payment date.
