Get to know two of the worlds greatest cities. We begin in
Argentina, land of Latin passion, Eva Peron, tango, polo, wine and the world’s
thickest steaks. Discover the beauty of the spirited capital city of Buenos
Aires. You’ll see why it’s called the “Paris of So. America” as you explore the
elegant neighborhoods. Enjoy a Gaucho Fiesta out on a ranch for traditional
horse shows and a feast of beef. Ride a scenic coastal train to the Tigre Delta
region. At night, get the swing of things at a professional Tango show.
Lessons are available.
On to Brazil, for some “sunshine therapy.” Rio de Janeiro
is the St. Tropez of So. America with a jaw dropping landscape. Its image
evokes fun, sun and the sensual rhythm of samba. Ride a cable car up to Sugar
Loaf, marvel at the gigantic statue of Christ on top of Corcovado. Take a jeep
tour of a real favella. Attend a colorful Samba show. Be a carioca and dine
Brazil style at a churrascaria. At leisure, swim the beaches of Copacabana and
Ipanema, shop for gemstones and revel in the world famous nightlife. We
tried to offer an optional
add-on available to visit Iguassu Falls, but due to airlines concerns it was
cost prohibitive.
Visit this safe region where the dollar is strong and the
people are so friendly. Our past groups loved the cultural canvas of
excitement, glamour and scenic beauty.
