Suzy's Singapore & Vietnam Journal
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
vietnam suzy I simply love aircrafts and long haul flights. We board award winning Singapore Airlines with about 30 hours to go. With 8 magazines, choosing 6 movies, 4 meals and a sleeping pill, I arrive relaxed and ready to explore. American airports are still not people friendly. Singapore’s ultra-modern airport invites you to linger with free internet terminals, a cinema, roof top swimming pool, aroma therapy spas, oxygen bars, indoor nature garden with waterfalls and koi pond.
I’m escorting my smallest group yet with 28 singles. Over 60 had begged me to offer these destinations, but most bailed last minute claiming fear of bird flu. So it’s like a vacation for me with this quality over quantity entourage of culture-vultures...
Travel quote sent by Shirley Brownlee
“Americans who travel abroad for the first time are often shocked to discover that despite all the progress that has been made in the past 30 years, many foreign people still speak in foreign languages.” – Dave Barry
Dear Suzy - Dealing with a lost passport!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Question - I can’t find my passport! Is there a distinction between lost and stolen passport?

Answer - No distinction. You must appear in person at a post office or courthouse to renew it. To find the most convenient location in your area go to www.travel.state.gov. Fill out standard 2 forms, supply proof of citizenship, 2 photos and $97 money order.

Always check when your passport will expire. Some countries including the USA require a valid passport 6 months after your return home. Airlines can refuse boarding if they so choose. Also you must have 2 blank pages left in your passport or else you can be refused entry in another country! Have extension pages added.
